Instructions to make Engineering Drawing on AutoCAD 1. Open AutoCAD and select New in the File menu to create a new project file. 2. Type Units in the command line to define the base Length, Angle and Insertion Scale units. 3. Type Dsettings in the command line to open the Drawing Settings window and turn on drawing tools, such as orthographic drawing, object snaps and grids.
