Instructor killed - check Little girl scarred for life - check Parents who took a child to fire an automatic weapon touting their second amendment rights - check Parents end up suing gun range for aforementioned scarring - probable I really dont understand gun lovers anymore. I get the whole in case of government - break glass argument that the survivalists live by (except when its actually happening and they dont want to do anything about it - police depts with IED proof tanks, for instance). But beyond that Im lost honestly. You love guns... plain and simple. You use the second amendment as a defense for your love of guns. You enjoy shooting your gun. You secretly/openly hope that one day you will get to use your gun on someone dumb enough to attempt a crime against you. At the end of the day its a weapon, designed to kill, that you love to play with. I wonder how far self-defense and love of weaponry can be stretched. Lets say a criminal approaches me with a knife and wants my wallet. Would I be justified in using a concealed homemade flamethrower and lighting him on fire? If someone broke into my house and I managed to escape, would it be okay if I blockaded the door and burned my house down? I know I dont have a constitutional right to burn another human being but... it was self-defense so its cool right? Castle doctrine and all that? Anyway... Im just ranting... feel free to respond with your army video of the guy dismantling Obamas gun control argument in 3 minutes or tell me about proper gun safety etc. etc..
