Marketing Strategist Structured as a leadership development program, 3M’s Integrated Marketing Development is an internal marketing and communications consultancy serving the company’s 40+ divisions. The department is comprised of recent graduates of top-rated MBA programs who provide strategic marketing leadership, analytical thinking, and strong project management skills to every assignment. Marketing Strategists typically lead 4-6 projects at once, working closely with internal 3M clients from corporate and business marketing, communications, or other cross-functional disciplines. Strategists typically spend two years in the department and subsequently transition into a marketing or communications role within a business unit or corporate marketing.
