Integrity is a somewhat of an elusive value to define. From a - TopicsExpress

Integrity is a somewhat of an elusive value to define. From a values perspective we often claim to exhibit "integrity"... What do we mean with this though. To some I imagine it is a collective noun for a whole host of personally defined values, to some it is the consistency with which we live our lives, and whether that correlates with what we say about our lives. To some it might mean something completely different. Personally I like the following from Gandhi as in part a measure of integrity, "If you believe in something, and you do not live it, you are dishonest". Ultimately, whatever I believe integrity to be, if my life is absent of that, then it is absent of integrity... an obvious statement yes, but maybe it does highlight the fact that we are quick to claim this value as part of whom we are, maybe, just sometimes, too quick....
