Intense MONSTER training for Leone Whites Rugby team today with both coaches Scotty and Lolo and both assistant trainers Ene and myself helping to bring out the MONSTER mode in the players. Weve got players representing a variety of families and villages on our team because we call them brothers and in the end well all take them as one into the battle of competition! Weve got a competition tomorrow as part of a tag/touch rugby tournament hosted by a congregation of Christian Churches for the youth and well be representing the Leone Siona church (I hope I didnt get that spelling wrong). Itll be my first tour as a fitness trainer for the team in addition to all the newbies on the squad. Definitely lookin forward to that goin down at the Taputimu field. If youre free and around the area, everything begins around 8 a.m. so come check it out if you want to see the progress of our teams out there. Im sure you wont be disappointed ;) Later on Ive got the American Samoa Wrestling Association BBQ to go to which starts at 12 p.m. at Maliu Mai so Ill be cutting it real close with scheduling. Gotta go meet up with all our young medalists from the Youth Olympics and Oceania Wrestling Championships 2014, they definitely deserve this! I knew we broke the 100 medals mark because at first they were saying it was 91 but that was the medal count that didnt include the Beach Wrestling Medals so yes we are officially the first AMERIKA SAMOA TEAM to garner more than 100 medals in one year of competition (technically 3 days of competition!) WHO GOT ANYTHING ON THAT ha ha ha! Amerika Samoa Wrestling comin thru!!! Lots of great things happening here on island when people come together and use their skills, knowledge, and strength to get something done in a positive light. We can choose to look down on others and cut them down but what the hell for? Negativity only corrupts, destroys, and subtracts... Positivity creates, builds up, and increases. Long story short, change the thought process out here, if the outside is giving you negative then on the inside were changing it to positive. Now that is the MONSTER way ha ha ha! - Thought for the Night
