Course dates: 1. - 4. 12. 2014 Course language: English Prof. Gilbert has a rich experience in the field of international theory and policy. Among others he has worked at UNESCAP - Poverty and Development Division and International Trade and Investment Division. He also worked as a Research Economist at APEC Study Centre of New Zealand. Much of his work has been on regional trade agreements in the Asia-Pacific. This 3ECTS course is primarily aimed at master students and young researchers in the field of international trade. However, interested undergraduate students with basics of microeconomics, international economics or international trade theory are also welcome. The course provides a theoretical and practical introduction to creating and using CGE models in the theory and policy of international trade.
