Inter Milan are weighing up whether to offer a swap deal involving Mateo Kovacic for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez this summer. According to talkSPORT, the Italian giants are mulling a straight swap deal for the Mexican international, who has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford under David Moyes. Earlier this month Inter Milan played down reports linking them with a move for the forward, but theyre believed to willing to do a deal if they can minimise the cash outlay. To do that, they would have to tempt United with a trade offer, and they reportedly hope to use the Old Trafford clubs long-standing interest in Kovacic to their advantage. United have been linked with the 19-year-old Kovacic in the past - he was tipped to join United from Dinamo Zagreb in 2013 before he moved to the San Siro. Kovacic has started just eight Serie A games for fifth-placed Inter Milan this season, and manager Walter Mazzarri may let him move on at the end of the current campaign. Hernandez meanwhile, has struggled to get on the pitch under Moyes, with Robin Van Persie, Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney often preferred. The 25-year-old striker has been linked with a number of clubs abroad, including Atletico Madrid, and is reportedly becoming increasingly frustrating with his role on the bench.
