Inter Milan have expressed an interest in signing Arsenal and Chelsea outcasts Lukas Podolski and Mohamed Salah. Podolski was already a target for Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, before Inter manager Roberto Mancini added the German to his list of transfer window targets. Despite making 13 appearances for Arsenal this season, Podolski feels he has been squeezed out of manager Arsene Wenger’s plans and is keen to move in the New Year. Wenger, though, is reluctant to allow Podolski to leave the Emirates in January and may make the 29-year-old wait until the summer to find a new club. Arsenal are already considering allowing Yaya Sanogo to leave on loan in January to gain first-team experience, with Crystal Palace interested in the 21-year-old, and letting Podolski go as well would leave Wenger dangerously short of forward cover.
