Intercessions –Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ Celebrant: The source and summit of Christian life is the Most Holy Eucharist. Rejoicing in this incomparable gift, we praise the Father now and pray: Lector: 1. For the Church, the Body of Christ: that we will deepen our devotion to the Eucharistic sacrifice, which gives life to the world. We pray to the Lord… 2. For our President, Governor, legislators, judges, and all in service to the common good, that through the redemptive power of Christ’s Eucharistic Sacrifice, they may never tire in their work to uphold religious freedom and conscience protection for all. We pray to the Lord… 3. That the real Presence of Jesus will be experienced in all marriages, in all business relations, in all daily encounters and in our friendships. We pray to the Lord… 4. For those around the world who are victims of war, human trafficking, drug running and slave labor, and every type of violence. May their cries for freedom be heard by a vigilant Church. We pray to the Lord… 5. For the unemployed, the elderly, migrants, the homeless, prisoners and all those who experience marginalization. That the Church’s prayer and its nearness give them comfort and assistance in hope and strength, and courage in defending human dignity. We pray to the Lord… 6. For the grace this week to adore the Presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament and in the face of every person we meet. We pray to the Lord… Celebrant: Loving Father, the gift of the Eucharist blesses us with true freedom and lasting peace. Through the grace of the Eucharist, let us become more perfectly the Body of Christ. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
