Intercessory prayer basically means praying to the Lord on behalf - TopicsExpress

Intercessory prayer basically means praying to the Lord on behalf of someone else. It could be simply naming someone in prayer. Paul told the churches in Rome, Ephesus and Thessalonica, for instance, that he always mentioned them in his prayers (Romans 1:9, Ephesians 1:16, 1 Thessalonians 1:2). Merely mentioning somebody to God may not seem much, but God does not need to be put into an arm-lock every day for everybody on our list. He takes note of what we say without our having to appeal for attention. If we link someone’s ordinary human name with the name of Jesus it is a dynamic union. Let’s pray for one another. God bless you. REINHARD BONNKE
