CONSLA uses body contacts, the weight of your partner and incorporates two more directions to your dance: the floor youre dancing on and the air you or your partner reach to. The result is a new dance style that is seamlessly integrated with your salsa dancing and your own moves - creating a constant flow and enjoyment - for you two. Dotty-Dorottya Ujszaszi was born in Hungary, grew up to the age of 7 in Cuba. Started her dance education with classical ballet and ballroom dances. Became a soloist of modern jazz/ contemporary in 4 years time, and toured around Europe the company Budapest Dance Theatre. Since 2006 she has been practicing as a personal Stott Pilates trainer in Budapest, London and Paris. Moved to London in 2010 and performed with English National Ballet, Essakow Dance, Quan Bui Ngoch from the belgian Les Ballet C de la B. Meeting Leon Rose they started to dance salsa together based in Paris. In 2011 the show ’Backstage’ was created mixing salsa and contemporary dance moves. This choreography turned out to be a huge success all around the world from Asia, to Africa, Europe, North- and South America. The response of this succes drove her to focus on developing the method of her own dance style: CONSLA. Recently Dotty gives workshops in Budapest, Paris, and works with her international CONSLA Team performing shows and developing the method.
