Ambassador James Gadsden (retired) will be visiting UW-Seattle on Thursday, Oct. 10 during the Scholarship Fair to provide students with two opportunities to learn more about the Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship Programs and careers within the Foreign Service. (He will also be making trips out to Bothell on Wednesday and Tacoma on Monday.) Please share this information with students in all fields who may be interested. The Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship Programs seek to recruit talented students in academic programs relevant to international affairs, political and economic analysis, administration, management, and science policy. The goal is to attract outstanding students from all ethnic, racial, and social backgrounds who have an interest in pursuing a Foreign Service career in the U.S. Department of State.
