A Volunteer Fire Inspector is responsible for inspecting commercial and residential fire protection systems for compliance with applicable fire codes. Conduct initial inspections of residential and commercial fire protection systems. Conduct re-inspections and final inspections to ensure compliance with city, state and federal codes, standards and ordinances. Conduct field occupancy inspections by researching applicable codes, identifying conditions, issuing corrective action notices, and performing follow-up inspections. Perform administrative duties by entering inspection data, preparing reports and attending meetings. Training and Uniforms will be provided. Background Check and Valid DL required.
