Queen’s Spanish and Latin American Student’s Association is looking for enthusiastic students to be a part of its executive for the 2014-2015 academic year. Open positions: Head of Marketing: -Responsible for promoting the Queen’s SALSA club - Tasked with creating a meaningful social media presence that engages our members -Looking for an enthusiastic, well-rounded go-getter with excellent people skills - Role comes with a level of autonomy. The head of marketing will have the option of hiring as many assistants/volunteers as required. Head of Finance: -In charge of all financial aspects of the committee, including keeping track of club’s expenses -Responsible for making payments and overlooking our bank account -Student with an interest in specializing in accounting or finance preferred Special events Coordinator: -Responsible for planning our dance formals and holiday semi-formals –Maintain communication with our salsa, tango, and Spanish lessons in planning events–Responsible in arranging dance workshops and maintaining communication with the associated teachers All the above positions require no dance experience or Spanish knowledge. Letters of recommendation will be provided at the end of the academic year, or if requested earlier for recruiting reasons.
