Elite Sports Performance & Physical Therapy in Foxboro is currently seeking qualified intern candidates interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy, personal training/sports performance training, or healthcare administration. As an intern at Elite, you will gain valuable experience working with patients in our physical therapy clinic, working with training clients alongside our certified trainers, assisting in teaching sports performance classes, representing Elite at our community outreach activities (i.e. local races, sports tournaments, etc), and learning more about the administration side of operating a business in the fitness and healthcare fields. In short, you will come away from this experience with a wealth of incredible real-world, hands-on experience and skills and you’ll place yourself in the front-running for possible career opportunities at Elite. Qualifications: the ideal candidate is in process of completing a degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, Athletic Training, Health Care Administration, or Health or Nutrition. However, individuals who may not be currently enrolled in a program but are strongly interested in pursuing a career in the health and fitness, sports performance, or physical therapy fields, are also encouraged to apply. Hours: Hours can be flexible (or may depend on your school’s requirements), but afternoon and evening hours (until 8:00 pm) are preferred. Occasional weekend hours may be required to assist with community outreach events. Compensation: this is an unpaid internship, but in addition to the substantial experience and skills you’ll gain, you will also enjoy complimentary access to both of our fitness facilities during your internship.
