Interesting: A cargo version of Boeing 747 Dreamliner known as the Dreamlifter landed at the wrong airport - about 9 miles away from its intended target airport. Alls Well That Ends Well, and it did as the pilots made the short hop across to her correct destination. But the incident does deserve some scrutiny: why in Gods name would this 21st century marvel of engineering and reliability be off by 9 miles (14.4km)? With an all digital satcomm based nav system, that is a rather larger gps error? or pilot error? or simply a minor avionic malfunction? Intrigue gets real if one considers the 737 jet that crashed in eastern russia last week - like a bird falling from the skies. Is it possible ...? Nah, that would be too much coincidence. I do wonder. usatoday/story/travel/flights/2013/11/21/boeing-dreamlifter-kansas-airport/3661511/
