Interesting, I finally got a response from CVS re: the small child that was beaten to death and they said...they are in the process of setting up a fund for the surviving child and will let me know. They did not refer me to the online fundraiser. This was from a government agency calling me back. I do plan on donating when it goes to the proper place. So if I worried I jumped the gun in cautioning the person running this on-line fundraising effort...I worry no more. I did the right thing. This child does not need immediate clothes or toys for Christmas or candy. He needs long term help which can NEVER make up for what he was exposed to. My comments on the fundraiser were deleted, even though the fundraiser has now changed its language to reflect this new reality that Victim Services will be handling any fundraising.
