Interesting. I only disagree with the statement made that altruism can be a selfish pleasure or done to impress people. No. It must be an act of conscience, even self-sacrifice, to be truly effective. It also shouldnt be about impressing anyone, but more so about setting an example. That means, for instance, that it can be more violent. So it really is important to bring women into the mainstream of society. But they can only be productive if they are educated.
