Interesting. Not a bad summary of some of the more popularized behavioral finance findings. This was disturbing: Forty percent of American households have no retirement savings at all. Another 40 percent have savings of less than $100,000. The retirement savings deficit in this country is estimated to be more than $10 trillion. That last sentence is a bit dramatic and assumes that spending the last quarter century of your life idle will remain the cultural norm (I bet it wont because its economically unsustainable, mentally unhealthy, and people in their 70s today are healthier than people in their 50s a century ago).
