Interesting... Scotland has been at war with England for like half of its History; very similar to France too... Scottish people are strong, like the Scottish Schtroumpfs, William Wallace ..., so who knows, they might become stronger if free. But England might feel becoming weaker if it does so. Scotland could also join the Nordic Council NORDEN, as their country is up there along the same latitude as all Nordic countries, with a cross flag although slanted. It might not change much... Or Britain could give it more freedom, like it probably does for their far away islands...
