Interesting... Tennessee spent approximately $22,000 on 800 drug tests with a .005-0053% success rate (depending on how you define success). The only study I could find said this would equate to a state savings of about $6,500/year. I dont claim to be a mathematician by any means, but my numbers show this program to produce a net loss of $15,500 for the state. These numbers seem to show a lose-lose for the welfare drug testing policy push. What are your thoughts?
