Interesting. The BBC World Cup pundit panel has switched. Lineker, the interrogator, is now on the left, asking questions of people on the right. Classic Parkinson set-up, also used by Graham Norton and, in days of yore, Michael Aspel. Up until today (and still the ITV presentation of choice), it has been Lineker on the right, guests on the left, as favoured historically by Jonathan Ross, Terry Wogan and Alan Carr. Its a pity no ones gone for the Russell Harty model of anchorman in the middle, which older readers may remember resulted in the poor man being twatted by Grace Jones when she thought he was ignoring her. I rather like the middle option; more chance of Gordon Strachan thumping Adrian Chiles.
