Interesting. This is the new high density development on Beach Blvd. next to the Chevy dealer. It is 100% low-income publicly subsidized housing. Im sure the financing will make some curious reading but the number of actual units is interesting to me. The City of HB is approving 100 units an acre for developments like the Elan on Beach and Ellis, why would they have LESS density for low-income housing ? this is 78 units on 2.2 acres...that would translate into 220 units for rent, why make the publicly subsidized units more spacious ?? amcalhousing/communities/oceana/
