Interesting afternoon. Went for my walk (rain cant stop dis jam), Went to the bank and stood on line for 50 minutes with 23 people and ONE teller working. Asked a few questions, yes indeed, and the reason given was chikungunya staff shortages, PLUS the brilliantly decided schools shut down because of rain, (no, not sleet or snow or hurricane) which meant that many parents had to make alternate plans, and some were forced to miss work. So all yall who feel that asinine decisions have no effect on national productivity, youre more stupid than the people who make them, as difficult as that is. Then stopped through the Trini supermarket for a few items, and trodded back to home. As I was crossing the road by the Sol station, one car approached and didnt appear to be slowing down, so I paused and stared, astounded. He finally stopped, I shook my head and continued to cross. THEN.....You ever see a car in hospital yuh igrunt white c**t? Well well well well...... I suspect he may have been slightly offended at my prompt reply, as he seemed quite visibly disturbed, since fortunately, even through my deep pain, I was still able to bestow heartfelt blessings upon his family line and upon he himself. (yall stop laughing) As I continued walking to my yard, the rain restarted, and it felt wonderful, bringing back childhood memories of playing in it, and I gave myself faith that it would wash away dis farking chikungunya itching...lol And it always seems to have to come down to race. And I thought, if I was in public and uttered such words out loud to a black man, I could be arrested for inciting racial violence, or some such thing. Interesting. And sad. AND, I forgot to get de calamine lotion, stupse....but dese cheese and herb biscuits pulling LOUD! :D :D
