Interesting day. Good one.All those iris that were rescued last week are planted in my terraces interspersed with the day lilies Sydney gave me LAST summer for this very purpose. The leaves on two terraces and weeds are burned, trees trimmed - on those two terraces.... Dog was in the catch pen again this morning. Lesson learned: Dog is SO insecure that he should spend the evening with me (as he did outdoors this evening) and be securely in his safety coat and securely tied up in his secure hidey hole before I go to bed at night..... Or else. Probably ONE thunder clap this morning early - that I didnt even hear.... Interesting thing happened as a sign for me today. That was nice, gave me a boost. Guess we will find a way to stay here. :) The little chickens like their expanded quarters and this feeder seems to be a lot more economical feed-wise. They liked the chops mixed with the baby starter, so perhaps they were ready for something more satisfying. Lucky and Mrs Silver Sebright were a little disoriented, being shut out of their private quarters, however I got them situated on a roost and they seemed to settle. But the greatest surprise and reward for all this good day stuff was what i read on the scale before my bath. 130. It said 130. I even checked to see if it had been kicked and the dial reset. Wow. OK, Ashley. Only ten to go! (Which at my advanced age could take another two years...) See you at 120!
