Interesting debate on F2P here: goo.gl/MvgV3C F2P is clearly tarnished as a model. In 15 years of game development I have never seen a platform for content that has caused such angst - such a feeling of screw them, Im never paying a dime for a free game and so forth. I like to think at Tiny Rebel were doing our part to change this. To treat free to play as a way to remove the barrier to entry for players to check out our game. To allow them to support us if they choose to because they get the value proposition. We dont keep secrets here from you -- no pay walls, no energy meters, no nonsense. It costs money to make F2P games just like any other game. And weve created a rare breed of mobile game where it keeps growing and evolving but can only do so if people love it enough to financially support it. And if they dont, we have failed as developers and the game shouldnt go forward. Would love to hear your thoughts.
