Interesting developments from the Indiegogo fundraising site of the friends of Gary and Kenneth : UPDATE: COUNTDOWN TO THE END OF CAMPAIGN Thank you so much for your incredible support to date. We are grateful to the over 900 of our donors who have helped us raise more than US$100,000. This may well be a record for a Singapore online fundraising campaign! We have 10 remaining days (as of today 7 June) before the campaign ends. As we continue to raise funds toward our target of US$150,000, we want to give everyone an update on what is happening. The case will be heard at the Court of Appeal before the end of this year. Because of your support, we are able to expand our legal team to include some of the best legal minds. More details will be shared in the coming weeks and we will continue to post updates here after the campaign ends. Currently, we have incurred over S$60,000 in legal fees for the High Court phase. Estimated fees for the Court of Appeal stand at over S$130,000, notwithstanding costs awarded to the Attorney General’s Chambers should the case be decided against us. In the meantime, we continue to accept contributions toward our target of US$150,000, before the campaign ends this Sunday on 16 June 2013.
