Interesting how the group Business for Scotland who organised the 200 signatures from the business community for the SNP is run by people who are all major recipients of government funding. The largest of which is Ivan McKee whos company two years ago received funding of £400,000 to create 65 new jobs, which interestingly enough, have never materialised. Is it just me that smells sleaze? Were asked to buy in to a vision free from corruption from our oppressors and here we are, misled and lied to by the people who are put forward as the bastions of our society. The other interesting thing is the list of 200 so called business leaders has only 3 names identified as active directors of public limited companies and the vast vast majority are small businesspeople such as guesthouse and shopkeepers, business such as the Isle of Skye Fudge Company and Clunie Guest House who Im sure will still sell a bit if fudge or invite some visitors in for an overnight stay if we dont vote for independence. The list has also been referred to as Souter and the 200 dwarves. Brian Souter being the confirmed homophobe who owns Stagecoach, whos donated millions to the SNP. Someone who Im sure would play a great part in our new fair and just society. Theres also Jim McColl, whos a tax exile and finally banker Sir George Mathewson, who was instrumental in putting Fred Goodwin in charge at RBS. They are no doubt looking forward to the 3% lower rate of corporation tax which is the only confirmed fiscal building block in the “more socially just” Scotland we are promised. Business for Scotland have said independence is the opportunity of a lifetime, it no doubt is if youre in the back pocket of the SNP receiving handouts of hundreds of thousands of pounds. telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/scottish-independence/11065467/Small-firms-making-big-claims-for-Scottish-independence.html
