Interesting lecture by Prof. Barry Cunliffe on the the subject of Who were the Celts?. However, his use of the anachronistic geopolitical term British Isles and the terms British and Britain to occasionally include the Irish and Ireland, is confusing and, of course, incorrect historically, culturally, linguistically and genetically. The term British Isles is not used generally in his latest works where the preferred and correct use of Britain and Ireland to describe the islands collectively is dominant throughout.
