Interesting morning. Watching the bluebirds nesting and deer from the kitchen window....on my way to work come around a curve to 3 gorgeous horses lose. Smaller town I cut thru with 5+ acre home sites with lots of horses. People are nearly smashing the horses.. they drive way too fast thru the short cuts. Childhood instincts click in after cussing people out (sorry God) and I get the horses to proceed down a side road to get them further from the traffic. I get them to green grass aside another horse pasture and figure they are content for a bit and drive back to the main road to find whomever must be looking for them- find them and load them up in my car and take them to the horses. We start herding them back to their home...I call ahead and have others stop traffic warning them we are chasing them home. People are literally pissed being stopped so we can get the horses across the road (stupid people). Get them in one fenced area- and we all finally were able to breath! Never a dull moment- horses are safe
