Interesting news about my niece who has the beginning stages of leukemia...she will be the fifth person to be in a test on an experimental technique. It is apparently a new form of bone marrow transplant, and she already has a donor match. I am not really sure what the technique is, as I am just hearing third person and have not read anything...but I am told, that they will be altering her DNA slightly, or something along those lines. There will be no chemo, or any of the standard treatments...but her hair, or skin could change colour depending on the DNA structure of the donor... I will post more on it as I hear...and if I can find any research or articles on this technique...If it works, it could change cancer treatments across the board...
