Interesting pic of the topography of the Bahama Islands. See how close to Cuba & Haiti/Dominican Republic. Florida is not far away at the top end of the photo. The Turks & Caicos are a part of the same island chain but for some reason a separate country - in fact still a UK Dependent Territory, as is Bermuda, further to the north. The different blues denote the depth (or shallowness) of the waters. Atlantic Ocean to northern side, Caribbean Sea to the south. The yellow lines are main roads - usually one per island !
