Interesting question to anyone in the know. In the case of a game like the one now on TV (CSKA Moscow v Manchester City) where the game is being played behind closed doors due to sanctions placed on Moscow for previous bad behavior of fans, do the opposition get financially compensated for the lack of gate money? Its something thats only just occurred to me although Ive seen the situation happen before.
