Interesting read...mind opening......The notion that Kikuyus have grabbed land at the Coast is a political propaganda. Not even the opposition can solve this quagmire in the near future since quite a number of them are also beneficiary of the status quo. It’s a malignant cancer started by the Arabs who regarded the black Coastal natives as slaves and had no right to land ownership. The British government exacerbated the problem by signing treaties that recognized the Arab dominion in the coast. Jomo Kenyatta, faced by a political puzzle did little to address it, neither did the coastal leaders who understood its genesis.
