Interesting take. I think its a little hard comparing Lena Dunham with the Coens, Phillip Roth, Woody Allen (lets not even get into Woody right now), because we are talking about a 27-year-old and her first big creative outing versus gents with prolific and proven careers. But I did particularly appreciate Male writers and directors are thought to be creating characters and art while female writers and show runners are presumed to be passing around their dream journals at staff meetings.
