Interesting to see so many people upset about Puff Daddy doing the commencement speech at Howard. I know he dropped out but lets understand something. A degree doesnt equal an education. There are many drop outs who are household names. Steve Jobs, Warren Buffet, Oprah, Bill Gates to name a few. They have all given commencement speeches as well. Out of all of them Diddy is the only one who isnt a billionaire YET...... so what has your degree accomplished for you? Are you in the top 2% of income earners in America? Do you have an impact outside of your own home where people can say youve made a positive shift in their direction in life? Lets not equate degrees with education or even purpose. A degree only means you were able to memorize and complete the necessary work to obtain it. Your lifes results will show what youve really learned!!!
