Interesting to see this come out now. When I was a manager at Best Buy we had to replace these headphones constantly while the manufacture (Monster at the time, and now its own company) never once fixed the design. There was actually an issue with not being able to sell new headphones because of the rate they were being used to replace customers with malfunctioning or broken Beats. The Beats arent even very good headphones from and audiophile standpoint and dont get rated very high on any professional and reputable rating system. You are much better getting a pair of Sennheiser headphones for about a 1/4 to a 1/3 of the price and actually get professional quality.
