Interesting twists in the Ampatuan case. Charges of bribery against the prosecutors, resignations by the defense lawyers. Are all of these intended to forestall the inevitable? To me, and that is why I support the prosecutions decision to rest the case, based just on how the trial eas reported, there seems to be enough evidence to find the most important persons - most of the Ampatuans, if not all, criminally liable. A few of the perpetrators might be let off for lack of specific evidence against them but as long as they are minor actors, I can live with that. Justice in this world is never perfect but having some of it done quicker than expected would be good. Dont you think so?
