Interestingly, I was was asked by my cousin What happen to the relationship? just as I was exiting his car after spending the evening with him at his new ministry in Cumuto. In fact, this has been one of the most frequent questions for the year and Im not too sure if such a question will be answered to anyones satisfaction. While it may be hard for some to digest, some may have questions far more that I can imagine. I responded by asking him, Should I just go about picking a man randomly and get married? I believe marriage is a serious affair and its purpose should not be taken lightly. I can use all the statistics, knowledge base information, acquired experiences, and though they are lessons, I simply respect my position, single. Singleness is not a crime, much less a fashion model statement and until we can learn to manage life from such a stand point, even from a God ordain status, I do not see any logical reason to run into a greater position when unlikely events can transpire. Folks, Im quite content and I have a life to live that must please God above all. In this, I lay confident and unmoved, not aborting any plans in His will ignorantly but I choose to accept my limitations for what they are rather than to run ahead with any emotional desires that suits me. Single or married, it doesnt stop my life from fulfilling what I was born to do... Selah.
