Interior Cabinet Secretary, Joseph Ole Lenku, has fired back at Jakoms CORD over calls for his resignation following increased terror attacks and runaway insecurity facing the country. Ole Lenku vowed never to quit because of Al-Shabaab attacks as demanded by CORD and warned jakom to stop politicizing insecurity challenges facing the country. He said as top security chiefs, they are on top of the game and very soon the Al-Shabaab and criminals killing innocent Kenyans, will pay dearly with their lives. “We are on top of our game as far as security is concerned and very soon criminals causing harm to Kenyans will pay a heavy price,” said Lenku. At the same time, Ole Lenku put Jakom and CORD politicians on notice for inciting Kenyans through rallies saying their incitement of Kenyans will not go unpunished. He revealed that Jubilee administration was keenly watching and trailing the Opposition and will very soon catch up with them for inciting Kenyans against it. “No leader will be allowed to use the freedom of speech to incite Kenyans. We are keenly watching jakom and his people and we’ll soon teach them a lesson,” warned Lenku.
