Interior design peeps, I need your opinions. We need to replace the carpet in our upstairs hallway (yes we just moved in and dont ask). We are contemplating putting hardwood instead. My issues is this.... Our downstairs is all hardwood, the stairs are carpet and the entire upstairs is carpet. So, will it look weird to have hardwood to carpet stairs to hardwood hallway to carpet rooms?? I do not want hardwood stairs. Suggestions??
