Intermittent fasting is restriction of calorie intake between days - TopicsExpress

Intermittent fasting is restriction of calorie intake between days as longest as possible, like 12-18 hours before resume eating. Correct, the time left for eating will be 6-12 hours per day and ones must not take calorie less than minimum daily energy requirement if they do not want to lose muscle mass. Adequate amount of protein is needed to be eaten too. It is claimed that the body will metabolize bad proteins --- proteins that are misfolded or defectively synthesized or belong to premalignant / malignant cells --- during the fasting period. Besides, this will effectively burn off the storage fat. I can do up to 10 hours --- 6 or 8 hours of sleep plus 2-4 hours delay before the first meal. The hungry feeling is hardly tolerated.
