The water festival educates students on the topics such as water, soil, wildlife, forestry and riparian areas. Grade 5 students from local schools (Dauphin, Gilbert Plains, Grandview, Ethelbert, Winnipegosis) are invited to attend the event. We anticipate approximately 200-250 students will attend during the two days. Many volunteers and sponsors are required to assist in hosting this type of event. We would like to ask your business/agency to consider making a contribution to this event. A volunteer/sponsorship form is enclosed listing a variety of options for you to become involved in this educational experience. In order to help us plan the event we ask that any businesses wishing to participate return the completed volunteer/sponsorship form to the IMCD office by July 31, 2013, to allow us time to secure other volunteers if needed. We require approximately 20 volunteers each day to make the festival run smoothly. Your business will be recognized at the event as well as in any publications.
