Intern Andrew Roth, a graduating senior double majoring in Political Science and Russian, was recently acknowledged as Outstanding Delegate (equivalent to a silver medal) from McGill University in Montreal, Canada while representing Detroit in a 2008 automotive crisis simulation. Michigan State’s Model United Nations team has been attending McGill’s UN conferences for the past 13 years — and that’s only since the team started keeping records. MSU and McGill have had a long standing relationship that extends through more than 20 years. MSU is recognized for bringing the most university delegates to the conference and always returns to East Lansing with a slew of awards. Its Ivy League competition, including Harvard, Georgetown, and University of Chicago motivates them year after year. Congrats Andrew! Were extremely proud to have you on our team! #canadianpride #msupride #politicalsciencepride #pride More information about MSU International Relations Organization (IRO) and their extensive award history can be found at msuiro.org
