International Film Festival of Marrakech For its 14th edition to be held from December 5 to 13, 2014, Japan is the guest of honor. Since its inception, the Festival has demonstrated the vitality and power of Japanese cinema, through the selection of films in Competition and tributes to some of its most illustrious representatives. The Festival will host on this occasion a large delegation of actors, directors and producers, it will also take the opportunity to highlight the masters of the Levant in the Japanese cinema history: from Ozu Yasujiro to Kore-Eda Hirokazu, to Kenji Mizoguchi, Mikio Naruse, Akira Kurosawa, Nagisa Oshima, Shohei Imamura, Takeshi Kitano, Hayao Miyazaki, Shinji Aoyama, Naomi Kawaze, Kyoshi Kurosawa, Mamoru Oshii, Takashi Miike and Masaki Kobayashi ... Japanese cinema will be honored in Marrakech. Festival International du Film de Marrakech Pour sa 14e édition qui se tiendra du 5 au 13 décembre 2014, c’est le Japon qui sera l’invité d’honneur .Since its beginnings, the Festival has testified to the vitality and power of Japanese cinema through the selection of films in Competition and tributes to some of its most illustrious representatives. For this year’s edition, the Festival will welcome a major delegation of actors, directors and producers, and will also put the spotlight on some of the masters from the history of filmmaking in Japan: from Yasujiro Ozu to Kore-Eda Hirokazu, through Kenji Mizoguchi, Mikio Naruse, Akira Kurosawa, Nagisa Oshima, Shohei Imamura, Takeshi Kitano, Hayao Miyazaki, Shinji Aoyama, Naomi Kawaze, Kyoshi Kurosawa, Mamoru Oshii, Takashi Miike and Masaki Kobayashi.
