Interpreting the Bible Isaiah 65 21-end 21. And they shall build - TopicsExpress

Interpreting the Bible Isaiah 65 21-end 21. And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. The children of Israel in Jerusalem and Judea, have built houses, that they will have taken away from them, they have planted vineyards, that others will harvest and eat the fruit, that should have been theirs. Those who make it through Justification, and arrive in he kingdom of God, will not have a foreign invading army coming in and throwing them out of their houses and eating their harvests, they will be secure in their homes and possessions. This theme continues in the next verse. 22. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. An interesting phrase, “as the days of a tree are the days of my people.” Meaning that once His people are planted in His Kingdom, their position there is secure, they cannot be uprooted and transplanted. 23. They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them. Meaning that all of those in the Kingdom of God are sons and daughters of God, brothers and sisters of Jesus as well as all of their families, and none of them will cause any trouble to form and all of their labor will be fruitful. 24. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. That’s because they will, like Jesus, be part of the body of God forever. 25. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, says the Lord. All of the animals in the world are under the control of God, and everyone shall be part of God. If God so desires the wolf to no longer eat sheep, then the wolf will eat what ever God desires it to eat. The same is true of the lion, and all snakes. They have been used to aid God in carrying out Justification, and once Justification has been completed, their evil will no longer be necessary, so God can eliminate it from the earth.
