Interstellar finds the world in dire straights. A blight has spread throughout the world killing of crops and animals by proxy. With corn being the last sustainable crop mans days are numbered. Amidst the famine, dust storms and fear of extinction mankind has turned inwards deeming exploration of secondary importance to the survival of mankind. Interstellar was a beautifully ambitious film that mostly pays off. If you can accept some of the plot conveniences towards the end of the film you will likely enjoy it. The space exploration was awesome and characters and their relationships felt very real and worth investing in. Though the ending didnt grab me liked I hoped it would, I enjoyed the ride. Interstellar is a well made Sci-Fi space drama with a lot of very interesting things to say. If youre in to slow spaced but thrilling sci-fi you may want to check this out.
