One thing that you – even being an experienced candidate – fail to understand that there is a difference between ‘work profile’ and ‘responsibilities’. While answering this question, you make a common mistake of simply listing out the activities you performed under your work profile. But those are already given in the CV. Recruiter already knows that. However, with this question, recruiter aims at exploring three areas: 1. How much responsible previous company thought that you were? 2. Which areas of your work profile were most prominent or significant? 3. How closely linked your previous responsibilities were to the requirements of the new role?
