Inthajtajeebu kabaaera maa tunhawna anhu nukaafir ankum shayyih aatikuum wanudhilkum mudhala kareem. If you avoid the great sins which you are forbidden to do, We shall expiate from you your (small) sins and admit you to a Noble Entrance (i.e. Paradise). (Surah An-Nisa, :31} Narrated by Abu Hurairah (RA) the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, Avoid the seven great destructive sins, (1} To join partner in worship with ALLAH, (2} To practice sorcery; (3} To kill a person which ALLAH has forbidden except for a just cause (according to Islamic Law); (4) To eat up Riba (usury); (5) To eat up the property of an orphan; (6) To show onces back to the enemy and fleeing from the battlefield at the time of figthing and (7) To accuse chaste women who never even think of anything touching their chastity and are good believers. (Sahih Al-Bukhari, V. 8, Hadith No. 840).
