Into The Woods: Considering my extreme love/hate for musicals, this was pretty good. All the performances were good, some really enjoyable songs (especially the opening), and a very good story up in till the final 30 minutes. The last half hour of this film goes into a very dark place and ends on such a depressing note that it kind of ruins the rest of the film. Its still worth an watch for the performances. Oh and if anyone was going to see this because of Johnny Deep, he is literally only in this film for 2 scenes. There was no reason for him to be in the trailer, they should of just kept him as a surprise. Grade: B Yes, I know this was a stage play before seeing the film but do the creators of this play have something against bakers? Like my god, why must this film hate Mr. and Mrs. Baker?
